Murals and trompe-l'oeil
Murals and trompe-l'oeil can be situated virtually anywhere, on walls, ceilings or floors, interiors or exteriors. Working closely with the client or designer we explore their ideas with the help of reference books, photographs, or the surroundings, we draw up a scaled visualisation of the proposed design, with costings for labour and materials.
This trompe-l'oeil is the end wall of a private swimming pool that was still under construction.

Paint is an extremely versatile medium. The effect of decorative paint techniques lie to a considerable extent in the subtlety of coloured transparent glazes laid over a base colour. The limitless variations of depth and intensity in one colour informing, absorbing, reflecting and echoing the others can be mystifying and breath taking.
We can match existing materials such as stone, woods and fabrics. We'd gladly provide painted sample boards as part of a design proposal.

This table was damaged in transit on its way from Australia to West Green House in Basingstoke. After repair, the paint finish was matched and reinstated and then re- gilded.

The crashed plywood plane was painted to look like weathered, burnt aluminium and signed written for a crazy golf course in Docklands for the Olympics.
